FC TEANECK Tryouts for Fall 2021 Teams
posted 04/30/2021

FC TEANECK is the travel club soccer division of Teaneck Junior Soccer League for Teaneck residents that are looking for a more competitive, year-round soccer experience than TJSL’s recreational soccer program. Teams have professional coaches and compete in the highly-competitive Northern Counties Soccer Association (NCSA) league.

Schedule: FC TEANECK games are primarily played on Sundays although some games may be played on an evening (Saturday to Thursday).  No games are held on Fridays or during the day on Saturdays. Teams train twice a week from 60 to 90 minutes per session (depending on the age group) on either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday schedule. The exact schedule will not be available until August.

Tryouts: Players interested in playing for FC TEANECK must attend the one-hour tryout based on the below schedule:

Wednesday, May 12 at 6:00pm
Players Born in 2013 & 2014

Wednesday, May 19 at 6:00pm
Players Born in 2011 & 2012

Wednesday, May 26 at 6:00pm
Players Born in 2008, 2009 & 2010

All players must pre-register for the tryouts via the link below.

About the tryouts:

  • Players must bring a soccer ball to the tryouts
  • Players must wear soccer shin guards and be ready to play
  • Players should bring their pinnie if they were a REC player in the fall
  • Players must complete the online health screening on the day that they are attending the tryout - the link is on the TeaneckSoccer.com homepage and will be sent via email the afternoon of the session

The Director of Coaching and/or a professional trainer will lead evaluations during tryouts.  The evaluations are the basis, but are not the only criteria, for the selection of players and placement on teams.
